We welcome enquiries from all landowners and their agents in Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside, Sunderland or the more urban areas of County Durham who are interested in planting trees on their land.

You can also get in touch if your land is within 10 miles of the forest's boundary to the north, west or south west.

Please note: Due to the high levels of interest in tree and woodland planting, we are prioritising already submitted projects for support and funding in the November 2024 to March 2025 planting season.

However, we continue to accept submissions for new projects and if you register your interest we will get in touch to progress your project as soon as capacity allows.
