What does the grant offer?

The grants offered through Trees for Climate are tailored to the landowner requirements and are available for a large variety of projects, with a minimum size of land at 0.1 hectares. We can support a range of woodland creation schemes, whether it be large scale planting, or a low density or mixed habitat scheme, hedgerows, orchards or woodland pasture. The grant could cover all costs associated for eligible projects, as well as providing ongoing funding to support the maintenance of the trees for 15 years. This ensures that any planting continues to deliver long term value. Trees for Climate is one of the most flexible and competitive tree planting grants in England.
